Kacper Kozłowski to play in Brighton? “Conversations are advanced”

Sebastian Staszewski, Interia: – Have you come to terms with the loss of Kacper Kozłowski?

Jarosław Mroczek: – For now, I urge everyone to be patient. As you can imagine, you are not the first to ask …

But can you confirm the negotiations with Brighton & Hove Albion?

– We make no secret that the talks are ongoing. And they are advanced. I think that there will be a moment in the near future when we will communicate everything.

Transfer is sure, but are you tapping the last details?

– From my experience I know that the transfer is only certain when the documents are signed by both parties. And yet they are not. At the last moment, a detail can pop up that will cancel the transaction. That’s why we prefer to work in silence.

Kozłowski will leave Szczecin in winter?

– This is also a topic of talks, but we, as Pogoń, are preparing for various variants. It’s definitely not that we don’t have plan B and C. Because we do. And if Kacper leaves now, we will react accordingly.

And you will have what, because according to the media, the transaction may amount to 8 million pounds, or approx. 9.5 million euros. Did you count on breaking Jakub Moder’s record, for whom Brighton paid a total of EUR 11 million?

– In this case, we do not do this transfer for money or to break records. Our philosophy is that both the club and the player must be satisfied. It is known that we look at our interests and the footballers at ours, but we cooperate so that everyone feels satisfied at the end.
