For Kate Middleton, who says back to school, means resumption of royal obligations and therefore official outings. After cheering on the England team at a rugby match, visiting a seaweed farm and taking part in a podcast, she visited HMP High Down prison in Surrey on September 12. For the occasion, she chose to wear the most criticized cut of pants in the fashion world: the slim fit. For her part, she did not succumb to this cut grafted on jeans, but on high-waisted suit pants in dark purple, signed Alexander McQueen. In order to stylize this controversial piece, she opted for a white round-neck top slipped into these famous slim jeans, and decided to complete the latter with the matching suit jacket. On her feet, she slipped on a pair of navy blue suede pumps from famous shoe designer Gianvito Rossi. Outfit which she accessorized with a gold pendant necklace and a pair of semi-dangling earrings. It’s a real lesson in style! Kate Middleton is almost on the verge of changing our minds about slim pants.

The inveterate It-girl Emily Ratajkowski is also one of those who can’t do without it, but who, unlike Kate Middleton, prefers this cut grafted onto jeans. At their side, we find the mother-in-law of the Princess of Wales, Camilla Parker Bowles, who was tempted by slim jeans last April. You will have understood, it is time to ignore prejudices and take out your most beautiful slim jeans which have their place perfectly alongside bootcut jeans, maxi skirts and velvet pants.
