Screening
The program includes free screening and consultations for risk assessment carried out by cardiologists and nurses in mobile clinics, consisting of an equipped vehicle and two gazebos: citizens will be able to perform, by a multidisciplinary team with cardiologists and nurses, targeted investigations from 10 to 18: the determination of the lipid structure, through a simple sampling of a drop of capillary blood, the detection of the main vital parameters, such as blood pressure and body mass index (BMI) and the screening of fibrillation asymptomatic atrial.
Tests that will allow to calculate the cardiovascular risk score and evaluate the risk card through a computerized algorithm. The subjects most at risk will be invited to contact their general practitioner and, in the event of a pathology being found, a visit to the local cardiology reference will be guaranteed.
In addition to the visits, doctors and nurses will dedicate themselves to moments of education in cardiovascular prevention, spreading good practices on physical activity, healthy nutrition and smoking cessation, while cardiopulmonary resuscitation instructors certified by the American Heart Association will give lessons on the use of the defibrillator.
