Kim Kardashian at SNL

Kim Kardashian will make her debut as the lead role of “Saturday Night Live” on October 9th. As the creators announce, the American star will be the host of one episode, famous actors will appear in others. Owen Wilson (“Loki”) will host the show on October 2. Rami Malek (“Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Mr Robot”) will host the episode on October 16th.

“SNL” will be hosted on October 23 by Jason Sudeikis, who was a screenwriter and cast member on the show from 2003-2013. The actor won an Emmy this year for Best Leading Role in “Ted Lasso.”

“Saturday Night Live” made his debut in 1975 on NBC. The show is filmed live with the participation of the audience and consists of sketches played by a group of actors. The episodes also feature famous personalities (from the world of culture, film, television, show business, music and politics) who act as the host of the episode. So far, the hosts of the show have been people associated mainly with comedy and cabaret roles. This year, “SNL” won the award for the best comedy program for the fifth time in a row, in total the team was awarded with seven statuettes.

Kim Kardashian was a reality show star for several years

Kim Kardashian gained popularity as the main star of the reality-show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, showing the daily life of the Kardashian family – alongside Kim, her sisters Khloé and Kourtney, their mother Kris Jenner and her relationship daughters with ex-husband Bruce, now Caitlyn Jenner (she underwent gender reassignment in 2015) – Kendall and Kylie. The program debuted on E! On October 14, 2007, 2020 ended. In total, 20 reality show seasons were shown.

Last year, Kim Kardashian signed a contract with Spotify to create a podcast series. According to the plans, the celebrity was to prepare programs devoted to people wrongfully sentenced to prison in the US and the necessary changes in the American justice system.
