The project would be based on the original King Kong written by Merian C. Cooper and on new novels by Joe DeVito which he produced by collecting the director’s legacy of the first film of 1933. The film should explore the origins of the monster and the mysteries of Skull Islandits place of origin. The project will see Stephany Folsom as executive producer, a role she previously held on the recent Amazon series Paper Girls. In addition to Folson, there will be James Wan, Michael Clear and Rob Hackettwho will be executive producers for the Atomic Monster while Danny Party it will be for World Builder Entertainment.
