LaLiga Studios, born after LaLiga’s association with Banijay Iberia in 2023, is looking for sports editors for audiovisual content. And it is that at LaLiga Studios they want to harness the transformative power of stories in the world of sports. They seek stories that deserve to be told, evoking emotion, promoting courage and celebrating vulnerability, with diversity and inclusion as fundamental pillars.
In this context, they are looking for passionate and experienced players to collaborate in the creation of LaLiga-related programs and audiovisual content in Madrid and Barcelona. The ideal candidate should have a deep knowledge of Spanish football and its teams, as well as exceptional skills in writing scripts and creating compelling content for audiovisual formats.
Its functions will be:
- Research, writing and editing scripts and content for programs and audiovisual productions related to LaLiga and its teams in Madrid and Barcelona.
- Collaborate with producers, filmmakers and other members of the production team to develop creative and original ideas for audiovisual content.
- Attend matches, press conferences and football related events in assigned area to collect information and audio-visual material.
- Stay informed about the latest news, trends and developments in La Liga and the world of football in general.
- Ensure that audiovisual content reflects the voice, tone and values of the brand.
- Meet delivery deadlines and adapt to changing project needs.
- Announce the audio-visual pieces.
Requirements
Candidates must have the following profile:
- At least 3 years’ experience in writing sports content, preferably in the field of Spanish football.
- Experience writing scripts and content for audio-visual formats.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Deep knowledge of Spanish football and its teams as well as sports culture.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to adapt to a variety of styles and formats.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with audiovisual production professionals.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines.
- Availability to attend matches and sporting events in the designated area.
