Lancôme joins forces with the Louvre Museum through a unique collection

This is THE most fashionable collaboration at the moment: the association between Lancôme and the Louvre Museum. Captivating storytelling, a line inspired by emblematic masterpieces and charismatic muses, what does this most desirable collection reveal to us?

Zendaya, Aya Nakamura, Amanda Seyfried and He Cong, all Lancôme ambassadors who embody the latest collaboration between the beauty brand and the Louvre Museum. Charismatic muses, inspiring stagings and dedicated collection, immersion in the trendiest collaboration of the moment.

The Louvre as a source of inspiration

Inspired by nine masterpieces of sculpture, as well as by the lights and colors of the museum, Lancôme captivates all eyes through its latest collaboration with the emblematic French museum. For this unique partnership, presented a few days ago, the beauty brand drew its inspiration from iconic works such as the Venus de Milo, the Victory of Samothrace, Corine, Diane de Gabies, the Nymph with the Scorpion, Echo, Hygie, the Venus of Arles and finally, the Hermaphrodite. Each of her works, through its history and that of the myth it embodies, has guided Lisa Eldridge, make-up creative director at Lancôme, in her creative process.

On the program for this unique wedding? Six special editions including cult products like the serum Advanced Génifique (revisited for the occasion) but also 4 new colors of lipstick Absolute Red Drama, as well as an eyeshadow palette whose colors symbolize the different lights of the museum. We fell in love with the golden hues, the incandescent shades of bronze or even the emerald green reminiscent of the iconic Cour Puget.

LANCÔME X LOUVRE – LANCÔME X LOUVRE

Indeed, in addition to celebrating the richness of history, this collaboration also recalls the importance of femininity and the diversity of women’s roles in society. The female deities represented in this collection embody archetypes of power, wisdom, beauty, and creativity that still inspire today. Indeed, as Françoise Lehmann, CEO of Lancôme International, explains:

“At Lancôme, beauty is an art in motion, beauty itself, as a personal ritual, is the way to express oneself and to stand out, with constantly evolving codes – in fact, without a code. This partnership creative and unprecedented with the Louvre is the cultural testimony of this conviction and of our mission for beauty at Lancôme. By continuing the dialogue between our French brand, rich in nearly 90 years of history, and the temple of art the more emblematic, we want to open new perspectives in beauty for today’s women from our artistic heritage and celebrate the fact that beauty is in perpetual motion.”
