League of Legends 14.1 patch notes change only one hero

League of Legends Season 14 It finally came, and with it came LoL patch 14.1 release date. Of the countless changes to the jungle and item systems, there’s only one change to the champion at hand – and even then, it’s not a huge change.

As you might have guessed, League of Legends resident Picasso Hwei is the only hero getting tweaks in this patch. After debuting on the Rift last month, he’s struggled to make much headway against the MOBA’s meta mid laners – likely a result of its complexity.

In an official patch notes post, global community manager Lilu ‘Riru’ Cabreros stated that the buff is “primarily for Hwei’s teammates, who have a pretty low win rate.” However, they did clarify that the team believes he “is in a very good position , or maybe a little too powerful”.

As a result, Hwei’s base armor has been increased from 18 to 21, hopefully giving him more online survivability. Additionally, he has a brand new quest involving Jhin that I’m already obsessed with. If Jhin and Hui are both at level 12 or above, and one of them kills the other with a ultimate move, Jhin will gain 4,444 damage points, and Hui will gain an additional 3.33% magic penetration. I love it when we see some new lore-based rivalries in League of Legends, I really do.

The only champion-related changes are for junglers, whose jungle pets will now deal more damage. However, this damage is capped for epic monsters like dragons and barons, while hero damage is reduced for non-epic monsters.
