League of Legends Season 14 has begun and a brand new movie titled “Still Here” was released on January 10th along with patch 14.1.The film features several classic films League of Legends Champions, including Morgana, Kayle, Aatrox, Tryndamere, Kindred, and Yasuo. Fans will notice different designs for several heroes, including Yasuo and Ashe, whose outfits differ significantly from their in-game appearances.
Accompanied by epic music from longtime Riot Games partners Forts, Tiffany Aris, and 2WEI, Still Here depicts the classic League of Legends Champions face death and keep fighting as they battle their enemies and each other. The film takes players on a journey through time, exploring various time periods outside of the game’s main setting, such as the past of sisters Kayle and Morgana.
Many fans were ecstatic to see the Eternal Hunter daughters feature prominently in the cinematic battle against Tryndamere, as they have never been featured in a feature-length film before. Fans are also excited to see the lore of several older heroes explored, as “Still Here” focuses primarily on heroes released before 2014, emphasizing the longevity and staying power of these heroes. Still Here follows the 2023 season film Edge of Infinity, which faced criticism from players last January who were disappointed with the trailer’s lack of action and story. However, Still Here received a more positive response, with fans old and new praising the animation, story, and music.
Riot Games also announced a new skin for Yasuo, called Foreseen Yasuo, which is inspired by his appearance in Still Here. Affectionately known as “Old Yasuo” or “Old Yasuo” by fans, the skin features fire and lighting effects that allow players to recreate Yasuo’s epic fights from the movies.
