The scale of the problems that has been plaguing “Military” in recent weeks is very large. Legia Warszawa lost the seventh consecutive match in the league, this time 2: 3 with Grnik Zabrze and is in the penultimate place in the league.
Boruc was close to returning to the game
Before the game with Górnik, coach Marek Gołębiewski said that Artur Boruc was close to returning to the game. – Let me remind you that he paused for a long time and did not train normally. He’s only been in full training for six days, so it’s not like he’ll go in right away and feel like he was before the injury. His health is very important to me. I will talk to him, as well as to the goalkeeping coaches, whether his disposition is good enough to help us – he said.
Eventually, Boruc did not appear on the pitch, and Cezary Miszta appeared in the visitors’ goal instead. The experienced goalkeeper, however, was not the only one who was absent. Maik Nawrocki was also missing from the defense of “Military”.
