Love Death and Robots season 4: all the latest news on the series and its return after winning 12 Emmys.
Love, Death + Robots is the creation of Deadpool director Tim Miller; is produced by David Fincher (who, as director of The Social Network , knows a lot about love, death and robots).
Both Miller and Fincher also directed episodes of the series: Fincher made his animation debut with volume 3’s “Bad Traveling.”
The series has won 12 Emmy Awards to date, including its third consecutive nomination for Outstanding Animated Short Form Program, as all episodes are under 22 minutes long.
The show won in the same category for both its first and second seasons. Alberto Mielgo also recently won the judging Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation for his Season 3 episode “Jibaro,” in which a deaf knight and a mermaid fall in love with each other.
Will there be a Love Death and Robots season 4?
Netflix has announced that it is planning the release of a new volume of the series “Love, Death + Robots”. Therefore there will be a season 4 of the Love Death and Robots series.
Fresh off three Emmy nominations, Love, Death + Robots is returning for a fourth season of mechanical mayhem. The animated anthology series has never been one to self-censor, but the award nominations bring out everyone’s classy side.
Each episode of “Love, Death, and Robots” tells a different story crafted with different animation styles by creative teams from around the world. Episodes also cover a wide range of genres, including comedy, drama, horror, and more.
Each episode also features mostly different voice casts, with several high-profile actors having voiced characters on the show.
So far we’ve seen Joel McHale, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Topher Grace, John DiMaggio, Elodie Young and Chris Parnell. Tim Miller, David Fincher, Jennifer Miller and Joshua Donen are executive producers on the series, with Jennifer Yuh Nelson serving as supervising director.
On the pending series of Love Death and Robots season 4
“The way I felt is that there wasn’t a lot of adult animation in the West, and especially not in America, and especially not at the budget levels that allowed for really high-end CG like what was happening at Pixar. and DreamWorks for kids,” Miller said at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2021.
“And we felt it was about time we did it for adults.”
You can stream the first three volumes of Love, Death + Robots. Volume 4 is currently “trudging” through a desolate mechanical wasteland, but it will eventually be here.
The release date has not yet been announced.
