Marko Arnautovic has been transferred to Internazionale. Thirteen years after his first visit to Milan, the 34-year-old Austrian has found his old nest. He will replace Romelu Lukaku and/or Dzeko in the centre, leaving a gap… which could go to Hugo Cuypers.
Inter were on the lookout for a new attacking leader after Edin Dzeko left for Fenerbahçe. In this search, the Italians found Arnautović. Inter will transfer him from Bologna for €10m including bonuses, according to Fabrizio Romano. Arnautovic only needs to pass a medical exam. It is scheduled for the end of this week.
Arnautovic has already played for Inter in the 2009/2010 season. At that time, he transferred from FC Twente, where he played for three years and received part of his training. Tucker can count on a certain percentage of the amount payable for the transfer of forwards. Twente should receive an amount between 100,000 and 150,000 euros.
