Górnik Zabrze defeated Legia Warszawa 3-2 in the 15th round of the league. For the Polish champions it is the seventh consecutive defeat in the league. One of the goals for Górnik was scored by Lukas Podolski, for whom it was a premiere goal in the league.
Podolski mocks Legia fans. “It’s nice that you were”
Legia Warszawa fans decided in a very inelegant way to motivate themselves to go to the next league match. During the previous meeting with Stal Mielec, fans from the capital hung a banner on which they insulted … Zabrze.

“Although in Zabrze it stinks and poverty, you have to go after Legia. On November 21” – such a sentence appeared on the banner.
After the victory on Sunday, Lukas Podolski referred to it. The world champion from 2014 posted a tweet with a photo of the banner and wrote to Legia fans: “It’s nice that you were in Zabrze,” sending them an ironic “kiss”.
After his victory over Legia, Górnik Zabrze advanced to the eleventh place in the league table with 18 points. Legia Warszawa has half as many points and it is the 17th.
