Łukasz “Juras” Jurkowski is a long-time MMA player who currently serves, among others, as the announcer of Legia Warszawa. In an interview with “Onet Sport” he sharply commented on the current situation in the team of Polish champions.
“Military” have lost as many as seven last matches in PKO Ekstraklasa. In the league table they are in a very distant, penultimate place. They only have nine points.
The current events are painful for many Warsaw fans. Among them is also Łukasz “Juras” Jurkowski, Legia’s announcer, who did not mince words in an interview with “Onet Sport”.
– I am not a supporter of dismissing coaches as often as it is in Polish clubs. I’m also not here to fix. First of all, I have been a fan for 26 years, and in those 26 years I have not seen such a mountain that is now – he blurted out.
– But every mountain can be cleared away sooner or later. We are wasted this season, but let that allow for something good later. I am an optimist in life. I hope and believe that we will recover from this in a moment – added.
For many years, Jurkowski not only fought in KSW, but also commented on subsequent galas of this organization. Now the management of the federation has decided to end cooperation with Polsat and have signed a contract with Viaplay. For “Juras” it means significant changes.
– It was natural for me, as a man associated with Polsat for several years, that my adventure ends here. Neither KSW nor Viaplay can offer me anything to convince me – he stressed.
