Madame Web: a video on the set sheds light on the character of Dakota Johnson

There Sony Pictures has recently started filming its third spin off from Spider-Man focused on Madame Web. Madame Web will be interpreted by Dakota Johnson, but not much was known about which version of the character the actress would play until now. Perhaps a new video on the set could have brought some clarifications. Johnson could interpret Julia Carpenterwhich is a version of Spider-Woman which turns into Madame Web based on what he wears. You can see the Madame Web set video here.

While I Marvel Studios have managed to keep up with their schedule of the Phase Fourthe sony had a few more problems. There Marvel has released films such as Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Eternals, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder. With the universe of Spider-Manthe sony however, he had a difficult time. Is it true that some movies from Marvel Studios they turned out to be half disasters, but most of them were still quite successful. Among them is right Spider-Man: No Way Homeco-produced with sony. It seems that the co-director of Avengers: Endgame Joe Russo be okay with that movie having everything a fan needs. Russian recently spoke with Den of Geeks where he revealed that No Way Home it’s her favorite movie of the Phase Four.

I thought No Way Home was amazing. It was great. I thought it was perfect. It was one of the best moments in cinema in a long time and it was nice not to have been involved. As a movie buff, I could just sit in a movie theater and be surprised and laugh and cry with everyone else in the theater.

He said Joe Russoand also adding:

I think the only thing Marvel isn’t getting enough credit for is, what else has bonded people so much after such a divisive time during the pandemic and after all this strife that’s played out in America over the past four years? But walking into a movie theater, race, color, creed, whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican, it doesn’t matter. The power of cinema is its ability to unite people as a community in a public space. Marvel does this better than anyone and I don’t think they get enough credit for it. And if that is the true power of cinema then they are surely the most powerful cinematic entity on the planet because you walk into one of those cinemas and boy is there a lot of joy and happiness and emotion and excitement while watching one of their movie. You don’t see that in any other movie. Also, historically, I’m not sure you’ve ever seen that level of excitement for any movie that isn’t a product where Marvel is operating at the top of their might.

Marvel Studios And Sony Pictures describe the film like this: “In Spider-Man: No Way Home, for the first time in Spider-Man cinematic history, our friendly neighborhood hero has been exposed and is no longer able to separate his normal life from the stakes of being a Superhero When he asks Doctor Strange for help, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it really means to be Spider-Man.

The film stars Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, JK Simmons, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Thomas Haden Church, Rhys Ifans and Willem Dafoe. Spider-Man: No Way Home is now available in 4K, Blu Ray and digital download!
