After having her name published among the 60 black women and artists in 1001 Tracklistsas ‘The Future Of Dance‘, Curol continues to arouse the interest of major players in the international market. Last Saturday (18), she shared in her networks her newest achievement: the recording of a guest mix exclusive to the program soundsystemfrom the prestigious and emblematic London radio, BBC Radio 1.
The invitation to participate was made by the artist and presenter, Jeremiah Asiamahthrough a contact via social network.
“I am very happy with this invitation. We only understand the proportion of how important our work is when invitations and recognition from niches, partners and brands arrive that we never even imagined possible. Charming people on the other side of the world and receiving the BBC’s invitation is very gratifying for me. Much! I can assimilate the greatness of this achievement by referring to what happened with Vintage, for example, after he participated in a mix on the BBC… in my eyes, it was a watershed for his career. It is a very positive reflection that my team and I are on the right track.”
