He hasn’t felt this thrilled at work in a long time and thinks it’s amazing. Giuseppe Dimagli, the official Mandurian make-up artist of Rai who in these hours (and for the next ones until May 14) will be involved in the most important singing festival at European level: the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin. From Albania to Ukraine, from Latvia to Denmark, the European delegations to make up for Giuseppe will be many: among them, the Ukrainians Kalush Orchestra, the Israeli Michael Ben David, the English Sam Ryder and the beautiful Vladana from Montenegro.

The competition that last year saw the triumph of the Italian rock band, the Maneskin, this year arrives at the beautiful Turin PalaOlimpico with the exclusive direct on Rai, a real family for the make-up artist Giuseppe, thanks to which for six days he will fully immerse himself in the frenetic European contest. “It is a real walking circus of music around Europe – confesses the make-up artist -, in which you are completely overwhelmed”. An organizational machine in progress, the one to which Dimagli alludes, confirming the great responsibility of being part of such an important international event that has been tested for years. In fact, he tells us: “This Eurovision is a great emotion for me, I rediscovered myself and with me the whole Rai beauty team. We’re under constant scrutiny, but it’s been really inspiring. He really wanted us ”.

The professional said that for each artist he also had to deal with their respective team, always present and demanding, and with a personal interpreter (even if he did not need it). The beaty expert has in fact more than twenty-five years of experience in the sector behind him and had the pleasure of making up and chatting with international stars such as Tom Hanks, Russell Crow or Sandra Bullock, in short, English was not a problem. A new emotion in Turin that electrified Dimagli and that makes the Mandurian community once again proud of its fellow citizens.
