Mahir Emreli should leave Legia Warszawa any day now. According to the Azerbaijani portal avropa.info, the attacker reached an agreement with the Turkish Basakseire on an individual agreement.
Emreli does not want to stay at Łazienkowska Street for any treasures. Unlike Luquinhas, who was also attacked on the club coach, Mahir did not resume training and thus did not participate in the team’s training camp in Dubai. His lawyer demands termination of the contract due to the fault of Legia. He argues that racism prevails in Poland.
Sources in Azerbaijan say Basaksehir undertook to establish (and pay) the compensation on behalf of Emreli. Legia can negotiate hard, since the footballer has forgotten about his duties despite the contract in force until mid-2024.
Basaksehir is the third team of the Turkish Super League. His team includes former Lechia Gdańsk midfielder Danijel Aleksić.

- They came: Patryk Sokołowski (free transfer, Piast Gliwice, contract until June 2024)
- They left: Andre Martins (Hapoel Beer Sheva), Kacper Kostorz (final transfer, Pogoń Szczecin).
