Marcin Wrzosek made an unsuccessful debut at the Fame MMA gala. The 34-year-old suffered a defeat with Kasjusz Życiński.
It was the fifth Fame MMA fight for “Don Kasjo”. Earlier, he had victories over Adrian Polański, Dawid Ambroziak and Marcin Najman. During the Fame MMA 10 gala, Życiński defeated Norman Parke by unanimous decision of the judges.
Today Wrzosek had his first fight in the boxing formula. So far, he has only competed in MMA. In 2016, he became the KSW featherweight champion.
The first round of the duel with Życiński was quite calm. Both players tested each other, they did not want to force blows. However, Cassius was more active.
In the second round, it was Wrzosek who performed much more blows, skillfully scoring the opponent. Also in the third “Don Kasjo” took more hits. Życiński had a problem with keeping his guard.
– It’s fun, it’s good, we’re having fun, keep it up – commented the judge, who at one point stole the show, adding color to the fight with his thoughts.
In the fourth round, Cassius took more strokes, and Heather only responded with single strikes to his streaks. Despite the theoretical defense, none of the players could lead to a knockout.
The last two rounds were also inconclusive. Ultimately, the arbitrators’ decision was won by Kasjusz Życiński, although the verdict aroused some controversy.
Right after the fight with Wrzosek, “Don Kasjo” faced Michał “Boxdel” Baron. During one of the conferences before the gala, there was a verbal argument between Życiński and the steward of Fame MMA. Cassius stated that he could face him immediately after the duel with Heather. The idea was accepted.
Despite the weight gap and the greater level of fatigue, Życiński did very well. He was able to surprise his rival with strong straight lines, avoiding blows himself. Don Kasjo took his second victory that evening.
