Marek Papszun commented on the pages of Sport.pl about information suggesting that he has reached an agreement with Legia Warsaw.
Such a message presented on Sunday by Marek Wawrzynowski from Sportowefakty.wp.pl, emphasizing that the authorities of Raków Częstochowa must consent to the transfer, and that the potential move of Papszun to Warsaw may occur in the winter. The mere interest of Legia in the 47-year-old is nothing new.
– I don’t know anything about it. At the moment I am the coach of Raków and I am getting ready for Monday’s match against Cracovia. I am also thinking about the next games and what’s more, I am also planning a preparatory period for the team, also for the summer. I just work as if I were to be in Raków for the next few years. What will the future hold? We’ll see. At this stage, nothing is ruled out – Papszun referred to the whole case in Sport.pl.
“Relax, there’s really nothing about us here without us,” Michał Świerczewski, the owner of Raków, wrote earlier on Twitter.
The very transfer of the Pope to the Legion seems likely. The question is whether this will happen in winter. There are many reports suggesting that the release of the hot news on Sunday was simply to calm the mood among the fans of the Polish champion after another league defeat – this time with Górnik Zabrze 2: 3, showing them that the club’s activists are working on overcoming a difficult situation.
