Marvel, here are the most loved and most hated scenes after the credits according to a new study

Like all fans Marvel they know, you don’t get up from your chair until the mask comes and throws you off weight: the scenes after the credits have become a must of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and in general of cinecomics that have to do with the House of Ideas – therefore including those of the so-called Spider-Verse and the franchise on X-Men.

But which are the best and which are the worst? For curious fans, the answer comes from a new study conducted by Ebuyerwhich he revealed the 20 most loved and most hated post-credit Marvel scenes. And, we already give you a spoiler, it will amaze you a lot to know that in the first place there is … Morbius! The controversial film recently returned to theaters and a great protagonist of the memes of this period.

The study was conducted using social listening data2 (corrected to 06/17/2022 and used in the last 12 months): online conversations about films were counted and sentiment scores, positive or negative, referring to the specific scene after the credits. Thus, it appeared that the most talked about movie is by far the first Spider-Manbut the post-credit scene recorded a low approval rate.

In fifth place of the most popular we already find a surprise: Black Widow and the scene in which the Countess Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine approaches Yelena Belova at Nat’s tomb recorded a 1.99 approval rating, just above Loki’s 1.94 and with about 10,000 fewer conversations. In fourth place, the arrival of Captain Marvel in the Avengers group at the end of the first movie with Brie Larson: 2.08 for the “prequel” of Endgame, but also a 2.63 of negative sentiment (one of the highest).

On the lowest step of the podium of the most popular we find the appearance of Carnage at the end of Venom (44,112 conversations, 2.45 of positive sentiment and 4.4 of negative). Second place, always surprisingly, for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ringswhich thanks to the mysterious ending in which the rings seem to send a signal to an unknown place collects the 3.91 consensus.

In first place, as already announced, Morbius: the film with Jared Letonot appreciated by critics, takes the top spot with a 6.04 score for the scene showing the appearance of The Vulturethe villain first seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Curiously, it is also the ending with the highest negative sentiment: 5.89 according to the Ebuyer study.

The same source also reveals what they are the three Marvel endings that the world doesn’t approve of, i.e. those with a lower positive sentiment. In fact, in 18th place in the ranking we find The Avengers: Infinity War, because apparently the clue about the arrival of Captain Marvel was liked only by the 0.307 of the champion. Then follows Thor Ragnarok and the appearance of Thanos’ ship (0.286) and closes Spider-Man: Far From Home and the scene with JJ Jameson.

What do you think? Do you agree with this study of post-credit scenes from Marvel movies? This is the complete ranking:
