After a long gestation and several previews, arrived in the form of shots from the set, Mayfair Witchesthe AMC show with Alexandra Daddario, finally has a debut date, shown at the end of trailer, now available online.
Based on Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches Series trilogy of novels, the series will be available to US audiences starting from 5 January 2023 on AMC+. While waiting for further details on the distribution in Italy, the clip allows you to savor the macabre and surreal atmospheres of a story that can only thrill lovers of the genre.

Two minutes of edited images are enough to start appreciating the work of the producers of the new show with Alexandra Daddario with which AMC is preparing to start a new cycle of adventures on the small screen based on the fantastic and supernatural stories of the legendary Anne Rice, one of the most famous gothic and horror novelists in the world. As readers of Rice’s works (known not only for stories about witches but also for those about vampires, including the bestseller Interview with the Vampire of 1976 from which the cult with Cruise and Pitt was taken as well as the homonymous series with Sam Reid and Jacob Anderson), Mayfair Witches is the adaptation of the story contained in the three novels written in the early nineties with the protagonist Rowan Fielding (Alexandra Daddario, on the show), a neurosurgeon, who discovers she is theheir to a family of witches. In the trailer, the American actress is incredulous of the shocking information that is revealed to her once she arrives in what is effectively a haunted house. Other cast members including actors Tongayi Chirisa and Jack Huston also appear in the clip.

Visually appealing and with attention to the smallest details, Mayfair Witches and the second project for tv adapted from the universe of Anne Rice, also known as “Immortal Universe”, which presents interconnections between stories about witches and those about vampires. The show with Daddario will be broadcast for the beginning of 2023, shortly after the end of the episodes of Interview with the vampireairing on AMC and AMC+ from October 2 and already renewed for a second season. The trailer of Mayfair Witches was presented to the public on the occasion of the panel dedicated to the show as part of the New York Comic-Con 2022scheduled from 6 to 9 October in the Big Apple, attended by the protagonists in person. The first two episodes of the series which is made up of will be broadcast on January 5th eight episodes total.
