Megan Fox reflects on conversations she’s had with kids about gender identity

Megan Fox candidly discussed the conversations she’s had with her children regarding gender identity.

In an interview for the April 2022 issue of Glamor UK, the Jennifer’s Body actress reflected on her nine-year-old son Noah’s desire to wear dresses and how she supports her three children as they grow up with parents famous.

“Noah started wearing clothes when he was about two years old, and I’ve bought a bunch of books that kind of tackled those things and tackled a full spectrum of what it is,” she told the publication. “Some of the books are written by transgender children. Some of the books are just about how you can be a boy and wear a suit; you can express yourself through your clothes however you want. And that doesn’t even have to have anything to do with your sexuality. So ever since they were very young, I’ve been incorporating these things into their daily lives so that no one feels weird, strange or different.”

Megan also shares Bodhi, eight, and Journey, five, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.

And she’s noted that she sends her children to a school with like-minded parents and teachers and tries to limit their exposure in the public eye to protect them from bullies.

“So far, we’ve done a really good job and we’re keeping their innocence in many ways, but I know I can’t protect them forever, even though I have a son in pain. So I have a lot of concerns about that, because I just wish humanity wasn’t like that. Even though my son is so brave and my son is so brave and I know they chose this trip for a reason. It’s just difficult as a mom,” concluded the 35-year-old.
