According to Variety, The Batman could get an Oscar nomination for its Matt Reeves soundtrack.
Last March it finally came out in Italian cinemas The Batman from Matt Reeves with Robert Pattinson in the role of Bruce Wayne (here you can find our review), one of the most anticipated films of the year for many viewers which fortunately did not disappoint.
The film consolidated as a smash hit with critics and audiences, reaching over $ 750 million at the box office, which is why Warner Bros. announced a sequelwhich still does not have a fixed release date (but which will be done despite the many changes in the Warner house).
Although there are still several months to go until the next edition of the Academy Awardsin these days Variety drew up a preliminary list of potential contenders for the statuette in the various categories, including “best soundtrack“.
According to the site’s predictions, the soundtrack of The Batman composed by Michael Giacchino could even get a nomination!
According to Variety, the following films are the ones with the greatest chances of a nomination:
