Millie Bobby Brown has given a glimpse into how her wedding planning goes ahead of her nuptials to Jake Bongiovi.
The 19-year-old actress and the son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi announced their engagement in April after two years of dating.
But despite the fact that his future father-in-law is a legendary rocker, the “Stranger Things” star said he won’t take the stage at his and his son’s wedding.
“I feel like it’s asking me to go and do a full piece for everyone,” she said Friday on “Today.” “I think the man needs a break, he doesn’t stop.”
“He’s always doing tennis or singing lessons. I think he needs a break, maybe a three-hour break,” she told co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.
In 2016, Bon Jovi surprised audiences by jumping out of his seat to perform “Livin’ on a Prayer” at a wedding he attended.
The Enola Holmes star said the rocker would attend the wedding as a guest and not as a performer.
“That would be crazy. I don’t know if he’ll be able to do that,” she joked.
And when asked what wedding planning was like, Brown said the process was anything but stressful.
“Jake is very, he’s very involved, he’s very helpful throughout the whole process,” she revealed. “I never felt alone, which is very nice.”
“I always think, ‘Is this a good idea, is this a good idea?’ But at the end of the day, it’s just a very intimate day for both of us and we’re both very excited.
“I love being home with my fiancé and my family,” Brown continued. “It’s really boring, but cutting vegetables and bringing them to my pony is the best part of my day.”
In an interview with The Sunday Times in August, Brown spoke about the moment Bongiovi, 21, asked the most important question.
The actress revealed that her fiancé proposed with a ring her mother Kelly gave her.

“I always loved that ring, it always meant something to me, so she gave it to Jake,” she told the outlet. “They were in cahoots about the whole proposition. I love that I can always keep a piece of my mother with me.
Recalling the moment she first laid eyes on Jake, Brown said she eventually met the one.
“I ran to my mom and said, ‘I really, really love him,'” she told the outlet. “After we met, we knew we never wanted to leave each other. You can’t pinpoint why, it’s just the feeling of knowing that this is the person you want to spend the rest of your time with.
