Miranchuk and Sanabria goals. Lukic, have you seen them?

MONZA – Not at all affected by the sensational mutiny of Lukicwhich yesterday communicated to Juric the intention to leave, Torino wins with full merit at Monza, in the historic Serie A debut under the eyes of Berlusconi. The goals of the new signing Miranchuk in the first half and of Sanabria in the second half, the intense pressing, the almost always exemplary attention in the defensive phase: these are the ingredients that allowed the grenade to repeat the success of a week ago in the Italian Cup ( 3-0 at Palermo) and to start the championship race in the best possible way, beating the red and white 2-1, scoring right at the end with Mota Carvalho.

STARTING Juric, as expected, immediately launches Miranchuk, lined up with the other new signing Radonjic in support of Sanabria. In place of the mutineer Lukic it’s up to Linetty: the captain’s armband goes to Rodriguez. In defense, forced choices due to the absence of the injured Zima and the suspended Buongiorno. Stroppa changes but not too much – considering the revolution on the market of the red and white club: thirteen signings -: half a team is the one that won the promotion. However, there is the debut from the beginning of the latest arrival, Petagna. After less than 5 minutes Radonjic serves a perfect ball for Sanabria who, alone in front of Di Gregorio, fails to kick from two steps. Monza takes possession despite the intense pressing of Toro, but it becomes dangerous only from distance in the 20 ‘with Filippo Ranocchia: Milinkovic-Savic rejects with his fists. Just before the half hour Di Gregorio overtakes himself to repel an insidious diagonal from Radonjic, brilliant as against Palermo. But the chills are also on the other side, when Ranocchia still concludes from the outside, touching the post to the left of the Serbian goalkeeper. At 43 ‘the advantage of Toro: ball stolen on the Monza trocar, Radonjic leans on the right to Sanabria who acts as a bank for Miranchuk: the Russian arrived from Atalanta overcomes Di Gregorio with a precise left touch.

THE EXCHANGES The recovery begins with the entry of Vlasic – an excellent name in the grenade market – in place of Miranchuk, not at his best in spite of the goal. Monza does not sting and Stroppa after a quarter of an hour changes three (inside Carboni, Mota Cavalho and Ciurria, outside Carlos Augusto, Ranocchia and Caprari), but shortly after it is Torino to double: on a wrong raise by Carboni in their own area, Ricci fishes Sanabria who, only a step away from the goal line, with a spectacular half overhead forgives the mistake at the start. Juric inserts Segre in place of Adopo, who was booked in the first half. It is still the Bull that scares Di Gregorio: Radonjic’s point of strength, but the conclusion is inaccurate. At half an hour a perfect restart – started by Ciurria and continued by Mota Carvalho – puts Birindelli in a position to kick just inside the area: Milinkovic-Savic takes a corner. Shortly after, Juric also removed the other admonition, Singo: in his place another new face, Lazaro. Monza tries to push with more conviction, but even in the final Torino does not risk anything and indeed with 5 minutes from the end there are vibrant protests for a contact in the area on Radonjic that the referee does not consider foul. And immediately after it is again the Serbian who touches the 3-0 twice with a shot that touches the crossbar and a shot that ended on Di Gregorio. The time remains for the debut of Ilkhan, the Turkish talented snatched from Besiktas, and for the useless goal of Monza, propitiated by a gallop to the left of D’Alessandro on whose cross they touch Gyktjaer and Milinkovic-Savic favoring the close touch of Mota Carvalho. But the party is grenade!
