Tom Cruise was shooting some action scenes from Mission: Impossible 8 when he met some fans on vacation.
Tom Cruise surprised some fans who were on an excursion to Barnard Castleunaware that filming was underway in the area Mission: Impossible.
The star, engaged in some action sequences, then posed for some souvenir photos with the couple who was walking with their husky dog Blitz, but was disturbed by the helicopters.
Tom Cruise, Adam Wheeler told The Northern Echo, wanted to talk to the couple during a break from filming on Mission: Impossible 8: “He was kind, polite and really humble. Tom Cruise apologized for the noise from the helicopters and asked us if we were okay. He was making sure all the people who wanted him had a photo with him“.
The actor shot some sequences by launching himself from one of the heights of the area with the paraglider. Cruise shot the same sequence several times, without stunts, and was brought back to the starting point by helicopter, a situation that disturbed the usual tranquility of the area.
The film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and will bring Cruise back into the role of Agent Ethan Hunt. The cast of the two new feature films, titled Dead Reckoning, will also include Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby and Hayley Atwell.
The first of the two parts will arrive in theaters in July 2023, the second in the summer of 2024.
