The Houston Astros are the team with the most Dominican presence in the postseason.
The Major League Baseball playoffs continue this Saturday with the Division Series, which has been agreed to be a best-of-five game.
Great stars like Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays and Brian de la Cruz and Jesus Sánchez of the Marlins have disappeared along the way, but the Dominican Republic’s presence still remains on the roster in October. It doesn’t preclude it from continuing to be obvious in the league.
ESPN Digital Here’s a look at the roster of Dominican players confirmed to participate in the MLB Division Series.
baltimore orioles
They have one of the fewest Dominican players on their active roster against the Texas Rangers. Their only infielder is the energetic Jorge Mateo, but he has already seen action in the outfield this season.

While Yenye Cano’s relief corps was able to do the job, the most significant loss since the regular season was the loss of closer Felix Bautista’s arm due to injury.
texas rangers
Unsurprisingly, they entered the showdown against the Orioles with only one pitcher, Jose Leclerc, who had already pitched two scoreless innings in the American League’s wild-card round. Compatriot Leody Taveras played in the series against Baltimore as one of the outfielders.
minnesota twins
The Twins are ready to face the Astros and have infielder Jorge Polanco and reliever Joao Duran to do so.
houston astros
The reigning World Series champions represent the team with the most Dominican players, led by ace Framber Valdez. The pitching staff consists of Cristian Javier, Brian Abreu, Rafael Montero, and Hector Neris. Pitchers Ronel Blanco and Enoli Paredes are not on the roster.
Also on the roster are catcher Yainar Diaz and shortstop Jeremy Pena, who was named the Most Valuable Player in the 2022 World Series and American League Championship Series.
