The color of hard candy, bubble gum and cotton candy. After the lime green, the stars announce a great return of pink. Yesterday, the center of New York was illuminated by Irina Shayk in candy sweats.
For the last few weeks, green has reigned in the streets of the world’s fashion capitals – from the shade of grass through juicy lime to almost yellow neon. The color monopoly will end soon. Celebrities are increasingly reaching for roses. A week ago, when Lady Gaga left Rome after shooting on the set of “House of Gucci”, she waved at fans in bubble-gum opera gloves. She completed the accessory with a leopard print mask.
Yesterday a similar set was presented by Irina Shayk. The supermodel arrived in the heart of Manhattan in an alabaster top and sneakers of the same tone, and pink tracksuits with decorative press studs on the hem. She completed the candy set with a purse with a faux fur cheetah and a dark fuchsia leopard mask. She replaced the delicate silver necklaces with a choker made of beads resembling powdery drops. She had announced the great return of pink a few days earlier when she was seen wearing an oversized cotton candy-colored suit, topped off with a By Far bag and heavy Dr Martens boots.
