The Awards 2023 are underway: have fun voting for your favorite films and TV series, but also for the most convincing interpretations, you can vote until January 15th!

From today we officially kick off the Movieplayer Awards 2023our award dedicated to movie and at TV series that conquered and passionate us in 2022! Also on this occasion the editorial staff of has selected for you a series of nominations but it will be you who will decide this year’s winners!

We remind you that it is not mandatory to express your preference for all categories, you can only vote for some of those listed. The only two categories for which it is mandatory to express your preference are those for Best Film and Best TV Series! Voting starts today, January 7th, up to and including January 15th and the nominations will be announced on January 16th!

Among the titles of the year Licorice Pizza, the new Paul Thomas Anderson nominated for three Oscars in the 2022 edition, The Batman by Matt Reeves with Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard and Andy Serkis, Top Gun: Maverick: the sequel directed by Joseph Kosinski has become an incredible and unexpected blockbuster of 2022 (one and a half billion dollars and one hundred and sixty million spectators), The Fabelmans, the new very personal project by Steven Spielberg, Avatar: The Waterway, the second chapter of James Cameron’s saga of records.

For the TV series, the challenge between House of the Dragon, the return to the adventures of George RR Martin’s novels, and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, a prequel mega-production based on the universe born from the imagination of JRR Tolkien. Outsider The Sandman, adaptation of the famous comic series created in 1989 by the British writer Neil Gaiman, Andor, prequel to the film Rogue One – A Star Wars Story, Split, a disturbing thriller dystopia landed on Apple Plus thanks to Ben Stiller and the certainties Better Call Saul and Stranger Things.
