Sky Europa’s managing director confirmed Netflix’s landing on Sky Q, after the landing on the DAZN, YouTube and Spotify platform.
Sky has announced that it has extended its offer by including the Netflix streaming service within the Sky Q platform. This was communicated by Sky Europe CEO Andrea Zappia, during the EY Digital Summit taking place in Capri:
“We announce the inclusion of Netflix in the Sky Q offer because aggregation is fundamental: given that the consumer is faced with a gigantic offer of contents, an aggregator that helps him is fundamental because it facilitates life, “said Zappia.
Netflix, therefore, joins other applications such as DAZN, YouTube and Spotify and the offer of Sky Q conforms to that already provided for in England and Germany. For the moment no further details have been provided.
During the EY Digital Summit there was also talk of Sky’s telephone offer, which has been rumored for some time. News in this regard will arrive in the early months of 2020.
