A romantic comedy, a heist action movie, and a pandemic social commentary rolled into one. The latest film by Doug Liman with Anne Hathaway and Chiwetel Ejiofor will show that a joint lockdown can reconnect even the most quarrelsome people. “Locked Down” premieres on January 14 on HBO Max.
The marriage of Linda (Oscar winner Anne Hathaway) and Paxton (Chiwetel Ejiofor from “This Is Love”) hangs in the balance – they are already starting to plan their separate lives. Due to the pandemic, they are forced to spend time together. The seemingly hating spouses will be reunited with a common goal – the attack on Harrods.
In “Locked Down”, apart from Hathaway (she also starred in “Witches”, the adaptation of Roald Dahl’s children’s book) and Ejifor, we will also see Stephen Merchant (“Jojo Rabbit”), Mindy Kaling (“Never yet …”), Lucy Boynton (” Bohemian Rhapsody “), Jazmyn Simon (” The Players “), Ben Stiller (” Night at the Museum “) and Ben Kingsley (” Schindler’s List “). Doug Liman (“Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, “The Bourne Identity”) is responsible for directing and Steven Knight (“Peaky Blinders”) is the script.
The film will premiere on January 14 on the HBO Max platform, so it will probably appear in Poland soon.
