According to The Telegraph, in January Newcastle wants to focus primarily on players who do not play leading roles in their teams. Thanks to this, the negotiations should not be long.

In such a situation there are, among others, four footballers from the so-called “Big Six” clubs. Newcastle will try to convince them to follow its project in winter.

This group includes Ross Barkley from Chelsea, Harry Winks from Tottenham, Nathaniel Phillips from Liverpool and Jesse Lingard from Manchester United. The latter, however, can wait until summer, as he soon ends his contract with the “Red Devils”.

Newcastle intends to look for reinforcements mainly in the Premier League. Another player who could join this team is James Tarkowski from Burnley.

Kieran Trippier is the only player not currently playing in England that could make it to Magpie this winter. The Atletico Madrid defender was linked to Manchester United this summer.
