Weather forecast for next weekFurther confirmations arrive on a strong worsening of the expected time during the next week, since Monday 10 October when a dangerous vortex (Mediterranean cyclone) with effects that could also be important on many of our regions.

In short, after the unseasonal heat that we are currently experiencing and that will accompany us throughout the week, Autumn is ready to roar again with a load of abundant rains and with below average temperatures.

Eyes on, in particular, from Monday 10 October when a powerful depression pushed by air masses of polar-maritime origin will cause a drastic change in weather conditions. Be careful because the cold currents coming in from the Rhone door will feed a Mediterranean cyclone able to trigger intense precipitation, even in the form of storms and violent gusts of wind.
The vortex will then actually come stuck from high pressure both to the east and to the north, remaining for this reason stationary and always active in the same areas.
This will be the leitmotiv of all next week: we will therefore have a country divided in two with the rains that will persist above all on Sicily and on the Sardinia and that they will reach then also the Center South while in the North we will have a greater atmospheric stability. The biggest danger with this type of configuration is the possible stationarity of storm phenomena that could insist many hours / days always on the same regions, also causing some flash floods.

In addition to a heavy wave of bad weather, we also expect a drastic decline in temperatures which will drop below the reference climatic averages, especially in the Center-North.
