Neymar has no relationship with Al-Hilal, club debut postponed

Neymar was expected to make his debut for Al Hilal this Friday (1st) against Al Ittihad on Matchday 5 of the Saudi Championship. However, the Brazilian was not on the squad for the match and club fans will have to wait a little longer to see the striker in action.

Malcolm, who has scored four goals in the team’s last two games, started in attack alongside Serbia’s Mitrovic. Another Brazilian on the team, Michael, will start on the bench.

Neymar arrived at Al Hilal with two injuries to his right thigh and has been working to get himself in shape for the match. But in this Friday’s clash, the Portuguese wanted to keep his striker.

After their showdown with Al Ittihad, Al Hilal will only return to the field next Sunday against Al Riyadh in the Saudi Championship.

Called up by Fernando Diniz as the first two players in Brazil’s qualifiers, Neymar will not make his debut for his new club. Brazil will play Bolivia in Belém on Friday (8th) and Peru in Lima on 12th.
