Nicki Minaj has decided to delay the release date of her next album.
This month, the rapper revealed that she will be releasing a new album on October 20. However, on Thursday (June 29, 23) he announced on Instagram that the record has been extended to November 17.
“I have been trying to find the right time to tell you this for a few days. Due to some very exciting news that I’ll be sharing with you guys later, I’ve moved the album release date up a bit,” she revealed in the post.
To cut short the bad news, the Super Freaky Girl artist shared the title of the upcoming album, Pink Friday 2. “I love you guys very much. I am so grateful for the years of support and love you have given me. Sometimes, maybe I didn’t even deserve all that you put into me. However, you Will like This. album. I will give the details of the tour later, but apparently the tour will start around the first quarter of 2024.
The post prompted a flood of messages of support from the rapper’s friends and fans, with Ariana Grande writing, “We are ready and grateful.”
The American star released the original Pink Friday, her debut solo album, in November 2010. Her latest album, Queen, which peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 album chart, was released in August 2018.
