Nilvange. Adèle and Daniel Klaine celebrate their golden jubilee

Their marriage was celebrated on August 4, 1973. Fifty years later, it was surrounded by their family, their friends and representatives of the municipality that the Klaine spouses celebrated the event.

Alexandra Rebstock Pinna, mayor and county councillor, recounted: “Daniel, a native Nilvangeois, was born in 1948, and Adèle was born Picchiarelli in 1953 in Piediluco in Umbria. Adèle arrived in France in 1960. It was Victor Madelaine who obtained their mutual consent thirteen years later. The couple had two children, Michael and Kathy, who gave them the joy of having four grandchildren, Thomas, Léo, Lola and Hugo.

“You had a life of hard work but above all a life of strong commitment to community life and that of the city,” recalled the first magistrate. Daniel, a trained mechanic, practiced his profession at the Garage de l’Est in Hayange from 1962 to 1965, then at the SMK until 1972, and finally at Sollac as a mechanic on rolling stock as head foreman before taking his retired in 2005. First aider for the Civil Protection, he was an ambulance driver from 1965 to 1970, chairman of the board of the Maison des Jeunes du Konacker. He joined the corps of volunteer firefighters in 1970 to finish as chief of corps from 2000 to 2008 after creating the JSP section in 2001. He was elected deputy mayor in charge of works from 1983 to 1990, municipal councilor in 2002, re-elected from 2014 to 2022. After raising her children, Adèle worked as an ambulance attendant for nineteen years, became secretary general of the local basketball club for fifteen years with unfailing dedication. Both were warmly congratulated.
