Nintendo Switch Is the Official Partner of the MI Games 2019

Nintendo Switch is the official partner of the Mi Games 2019, where it will organize a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament, alongside the traditional disciplines of the event.

Nintendo Switch is the official partner of the Mi Games 2019. A classic Mario Kart 8 tournament will be added to the classic events of this event, namely five-a-side football, beach volleyball, and three-on-three basketball. Nintendo will also have gazebos in which patrons and athletes will be able to enjoy themselves with their games in moments of pause. Titles include Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, 1-2-Switch, Super Mario Party and, of course, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. 

Davide Ardizzone, the CEO of Mi Games, declared on the partnership:
“[the introduction of video games] is a pleasant novelty and we are sure it will have a large and interesting response. Nintendo will bring the winners of the [Mario Kart 8 Deluxe] competitions to Croatia just like traditional team sports, and for us, it is absolutely to be counted as the fourth discipline of the Mi Games 2019 “.

MI GAMES is the largest multi-sport tour in Italy, which brings 3vs3 basketball, 5vs5 football and 4vs4 beach volleyball and the values ​​of sport in the main Italian squares. The stages for the 2019 edition are Milan, Turin, Rome, Naples, Genoa, Lignano Sabbiadoro, and Santa Margherita Ligure, with the addition of the Mi Games Finals. The event, born in 2014, includes various disciplines: soccer, basketball, beach volleyball and water polo and involves kids aged 16 and over. 

His claim “Live The City, Live the Sport” embodies the idea of ​​how to do sport and, at the same time, experience the city. The Italian tour, which will start on May 28th in Milan and end on September 8th with the Finals, will involve, in 45 days of sport, about 8,000 athletes. The tournament format is dynamic, the games are short and they follow each other, engaging the teams only one day a week. During the final day of each stage, the best content for the final victory.
