Nobel Peace Prize 2022 to Ales Bialiatski – World

The 2022 Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded Ales Bialiatski it’s at two humanitarian organizations, one Russian and one Ukrainian.

Ales Bialiatski is a Belarusian activist known for his work with the Viasna Human Rights Center of Belarus, while the two humanitarian organizations are the Russia’s Memorial and Ukraine’s Center for civil Liberties (Ccl).

The Nobel Peace Prize to the dissident Bialiatski and the Memorial organizations and the Center for Civil Liberties in honor of the “commitment in defense of human rights and the right to criticize power, defense of citizens ‘rights for citizens’ rights and against abuses of power, for documenting war crimes“was announced by the Nobel Committee in Oslo.

The Nobel Committee asked Belarus the release of the dissident Ales Bialiatski, Committee chairman Berit Reiss-Andersen said at the announcement press conference.
