NVIDIA GeForce Now - the game streaming service will appear on LG TVs in the next few days. Check if yours tooIn January, LG Electronics announced that it will begin adding NVIDIA GeForce Now applications to selected TVs in the second half of this year. Half of the year is long gone, but better late than never, because today, users of TV sets such as LG 4K OLED, QNED Mini LED and NanoCell 2021 will be able to download the application by entering the LG Content Store. This is only beta, but the bottom line is that something is happening. The GFN application will allow owners of compatible LG TVs to immediately use a library of over 35 free games, requiring only a compatible controller, without any additional hardware, downloading or installing.

The game streaming service, NVIDIA GeForce Now, is coming to LG TVs running WebOS in the coming days. Owners of selected models will be able to play 35 titles in Full HD resolution and at 60 fps.

NVIDIA GeForce NOW with the new RTX 3080 subscription plan. Fun on PC in 120 frames and at resolutions up to 1440p

The games include hits such as Rocket League and Destiny 2, as well as the latest Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy or Crysis Remastered Trilogy (by the way, the latter title is currently given away for free when purchasing the GFN Priority or RTX 3080 plan). All these titles will be streamed on LG TVs at a maximum resolution of 1080p and 60 frames per second. To raise the quality of entertainment to 4K / 120 Hz resolution, we only have to use the NVIDIA Shield device. The manufacturer ensures that the GeForce NOW application will appear in the LG Content Store for all users by the end of this week at the latest.

The Witcher series games in GOG editions go to NVIDIA GeForce NOW. We will also play Stronghold: Warlords

The cooperation of the LG brand with NVIDIA is very good news considering how good most of the above-mentioned TV models are in terms of gaming. Users will be able to appreciate, among others low delays offered by these receivers, as long as they are, of course, additionally equipped with a sufficiently fast network. To find out if our network connection can handle the GFN service, it is worth first installing the GeForce NOW Windows application, and then testing the capabilities of our internet (the necessary tool can be found in the application settings menu).
