The announcement dates back to May 2022 that Margot Robbie would star in the prequel film of Ocean’s Eleven. Set in Europe in the 60s, the project then also involved Ryan Gosling, who once again supports the colleague on the set after the Barbie experience. Directed by Jay Roachwho has already had the opportunity to work with Margot Robbie in Bombshell, the prequel should start filming soon. At the moment the film has no title and, although it has been labeled as a prequel, in the summary of the project, as ScreenRant points out, it reads “remake of the original Ocean’s Eleven”. Is this a prequel or a remake of the original?

In this case we would be referring to the first Ocean’s Eleven movie released in 1960 with Frank Sinatra And Dean Martin in the cast. Nothing prevents, in any case, from being able to use the new film both as a remake and as a prequel, setting it before Steven Soderbergh’s most recent trilogy. Although it does not yet have a precise release date, the film should start filming shortly and consequently could arrive in theaters during 2024. In the meantime, the magical duo made up of Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling will be in theaters at July 2023 with Barbie.
