Oppenheimer, the first trailer

The first trailer of has been released in these hours Oppenheimerthe film by Christopher Nolan inspired by the biography of the physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, interpreted by Cillian Murphy and Emily Blunt together with a cast formed by many celebrities.

Along with the trailer and the official poster, some production notes have been released, including synopses and the compositions of the artistic and technical cast.

Oppenheimer is shot in both IMAX® 65mm and 65mm large format film which includes, for the first time ever, sections in black and white IMAX® analog photography. The nuclear explosion shown in the trailer was shot with non-digital visual effects.

Matt Damon plays General Leslie Groves Jr., director of the Manhattan Project, and Robert Downey Jr. plays Lewis Strauss, founding commissioner of the US Atomic Energy Commission.

Florence Pugh plays psychiatrist Jean Tatlock, Benny Safdie plays theoretical physicist Edward Teller, Michael Angarano plays Robert Serber and Josh Hartnett plays American nuclear scientist Ernest Lawrence.
