The Nintendo Switch version of Overwatch will be different from the other versions and there will be compromises.
Apparently Overwatch for Nintendo Switch will turn at 30fps in all modes .. To say it was the producer Wes Yanagi and lead game producer Matthew Hawley during an interview with Eurogamer, in which they talked about different aspects of this highly anticipated port.
Meanwhile, they reiterated that, as seen in the announcement trailer, there will be the possibility of using gyroscopes of Joy-Con, for a different gaming experience.
Overwatch on Nintendo Switch will run at 900p with the console in the dock and 720p in portable mode. In both cases, the framerate will be 30fps, as already reported. The game will be held in line with the other versions as regards events and various initiatives.
On cross-play and cross-progression, Hawley is keeping his mouth shut for now, although he has confessed that there are technical and business-level problems that are slowing down implementation.
Overwatch will support in-game voice chat, although Nintendo Switch does not have its own internal chat system.
For the rest, we remind you that Overwatch will be released on Nintendo Switch on October 15, 2019. The game is currently available for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
