The first part of Dune presented itself to us with a decidedly not bad cast: from Timothée Chalamet to Zendaya, through Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Oscar Isaac and many others, Denis Villeneuve did not really miss anything in this sense. Can we do even better in Part 2?
The premises, to date, actually seem to be the best: Florence Pugh’s announcement for the role of Princess Irulan already hinted at the will of the production of aim higher and higheras well as that of Austin Butler for the role of Feyd-Rautha and, last but not least, that of the latest, amazing new entry.
We are talking about Lea Seydoux: the star of No Time to Die will in fact be available to Denis Villeneuve on the set of Dune: Part 2, lending her face to the character of Lady Margot, member of the Bene Gesserit and wife of the ex-regent of Arrakis Hasimir Fenring. It is obviously a character that has not yet appeared on the big screen, despite the important role she played in the book at this point in the story: in fact, she is the one who leaves a coded message on Arrakis for warn Jessica of the danger hanging over his family.
What do you think? Do you think that the actress from Vita di Adele could be the right choice to further embellish a cast already sensational? Tell us yours in the comments! In the meantime, let’s see in which Venetian location the shooting of Dune: Part 2 will take place.
