Maciej Jankowski is no longer a Stal Mielec player, so there is nothing to prevent him from joining the Perpetual Kraków – as we informed a few days ago.
Even when Maciej Jankowski was bound by the contract with Stal Mielec, we informed about the interest in his services on the part of the representative of the fourth league, Wieczyła Kraków.
Already then, our information showed that it was actually only a matter of time when the 32-year-old would terminate the contract with the team located in Podkarpacie in order to easily join the team from near Wawel.
This has actually happened in the last few days and in the next few days the attacker, who can also play on the wings, will join the ranks of the aforementioned Perpetual.
There he should not feel lonely, because he will meet, among others, his former coach Franciszek Smuda – they worked together in Wisła Kraków – as well as Wilde Donald Guerrier, Michał Miśkiewicz, Sławomir Peszko, Łukasz Burliga and Radosław Majewski.
The player born in Warsaw is a pupil of MKS Piaseczno. In his career, apart from “Biała Gwiazda” and Stal Mielec, he also played for Piast Gliwice, Arka Gdynia and Ruch Chorzów.
At the Ekstraklasa level, he has played a total of over 300 matches, and his achievements include 63 goals and 29 assists.
Jankowski’s likely employer is the group’s leader in the fourth league in Małopolska.
