Perpetual Krakow is probably heading for promotion to the third league. However, the ambitions of the club led by Franciszek Smuda are much greater, hence the next transfer of the footballer with a past in the league is planned.
Maciej Jankowski can strengthen the Perpetual Krakow
Maciej Jankowski is to join the members of Sławomir Peszka, Radosław Majewski and Wilde Donald Guerrier soon. The 31-year-old striker currently plays in Stal Mielec. This season, he played a total of 456 minutes in 12 games. He has yet to score a hit, and at the end of the season his role in the team has been greatly marginalized. His contract with Stal is valid until June 2022, but the club may terminate the contract with him earlier in search of savings – informs transfer.info.
Jankowski is a league stager who has also played in Arka Gdynia, Piast Gliwice, Wisła Kraków and Ruch Chorzów. In the league he played 302 matches, scoring 63 goals. He started his career at the league level in the colors of Ruch Chorzów and was considered a talented striker. Later, his career slowed down.
The 31-year-old, however, has his debut in the Polish national team. On December 16, 2011, he played 45 minutes in the 1-0 game won by Poland against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Antalya as part of the previously popular training camps organized for outstanding league players. Franciszek Smuda was the selector of that team.
Wieczysta is the leader of the 4th league with 47 points after 17 matches. The advantage of the club in Kraków over the other Wisła players in Jaśkowice is 11 points. The club also has an impressive track record of 79 goals scored and 10 conceded. Wieczysta also reached the 1/16 final of the PP.
