Piaggio presents the new Vespa GTS: all versions

After 4 years of the latest version, Piaggio presents the new Vespa GTS. The new model is enriched with electronics and technology, to increase comfort and safety. Produced in Italy, it is already available in dealerships ad a starting price of 5,999 euros for the model with the 125 engine and 6,999 euros for the model with the 300 unit.

For the new Vespa GTS, Piaggio was inspired by the lines of the “Vespone”, the name given to all the Vespa models characterized by a larger body. As always, the body of the new Vespa GTS is made of steel, a material that is also sustainable since it is 100% recyclable. On this model makes its debut one new front suspension. Maintaining the traditional single-sided layout, the system has been redesigned in the operating layout to ensure greater stability, especially at high speeds and to improve comfort and handling thanks to the new suspension calibration.

For this model, Piaggio has also made available a new saddle that offers greater comfort for the passenger as well. This new two-wheeler can be chosen in 14 different colors. The new Vespa GTS range consists of 4 different versions: Vespa GTS, Vespa GTS Super, Vespa GTS SuperSport and Vespa GTS SuperTech.

All are available in two engines: the 14 HP single-cylinder 125 i-get and the 300 hpe engine (High Performance Engine) with 23.8 HP. Speaking of technology, the keyless system which makes all the starting operations, opening the saddle and inserting the steering lock easier, which can be done comfortably keeping the remote control in your pocket.

On the SuperTech version we find a color TFT display for the instrumentation. On the others, however, a new, more complete instrumentation makes its début, capable of exploiting the potential of the VESPA MIA connectivity system, standard on SuperTech and SuperSport and available as an accessory on the other trim levels. Finally, we remind you that the Vespa has also been offered in a 100% electric version for some time.
