There is a new scam attempt underway that aims to empty the current accounts of Poste Italiane customers. Here’s what it is and the simple steps you can take to get safe.

According to what he reports tecnoandroid.itit seems that a new phishing attack has started via SMSwhich is then called smishing. Customers receive an SMS inviting them to click on a link. The web page that people who fall into the scam would open has the same graphics as Poste Italiane, but it is a fake.

How to protect yourself from phishing and smishing attacks

Must do a lot of attention to the links on which you click, also because this could lead to unintentionally downloading a virus on the device you are using. To avoid falling into one of the traps of the phishing or of smishingjust follow the simple rules. Must not never click on links that appear in text messages or e-mails. You should also always check the sender of the message. Before doing anything, call customer support immediately to verify the veracity of the message.
