The singer is expecting a child with her boyfriend, Cody DaLuz
Joss Stone gave details about her pregnancy three months after announcing that she is expecting her first baby with her boyfriend, Cody DaLuz.
The 33-year-old singer confessed to the People website that she was feeling anxious during pregnancy – one of her concerns was the delivery process. “I was having these moments … I remember I woke up one night, sat on the edge of the bed, and said to Cody, ‘Oh, no’ and I started to cry,” she said. “I said, ‘I have to get it out. At some point, you have to leave. Now you’re in. My God, Jesus. What if I split in half?’ You don’t read about it. “
Stone said he has been feeling better now, but admitted that he finds it difficult to follow his obstetrician’s advice. “The doctor is saying, ‘You know, you really just need to do nothing.’ I’m like, ‘Well, I’m kind of doing nothing.’ And he said, ‘No, you really have to lie flat.’ And I say, ‘Oh, I’m really not used to it,’ “he said.” But when you’re creating a person, I think that’s what you have to do. ”
The artist also revealed that the pregnancy ended up causing her to change her diet. “The other day, I ate seven oranges in the car on my way home from the supermarket. I just became obsessed. I was like, ‘I need vitamin C!’ It’s crazy. It’s just a crazy feeling. But it’s great. I just have to be calm and keep my baby safe, and then, hopefully, everything will be okay, “he said.
In October, Stone commented in a video shared on the StreamTeam website that Cody helped her stay positive while she tried to conceive. “I was like, ‘Oh, maybe I can’t get pregnant’ – because that’s what you think. You just think that. Always. You’re like, ‘Why isn’t it working?'”
