Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki paid a visit on Wednesday in Slovenia, where he met with the Prime Minister of that country, Janez Jansza. “Today I visited Slovenia, which currently holds the presidency of the European Union, so the conversation with Prime Minister Janez Jansza is extremely important in the plan of building a safe, fair and solidary European community,” wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on Facebook on Wednesday.
“We agree that many European countries are feeling the tightening of the Russian energy loop around them, as well as increased propaganda and hacker attacks aimed at breaking our solidarity,” the head of government pointed out. “I saw this coherence in the diagnosis of problems and threats this morning also during the meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. We will not allow it, ”stressed the prime minister.
As he added, during the meeting with Janez Jansza, the politicians also raised the issue of illegal migration, primarily in the context of threats to the eastern border of Poland, but also other directions. “It cannot be that the people of southern and African countries will decide who can enter the area European Union and NATO ”- wrote Morawiecki.
He also informed that during the meeting the cooperation within the Three Seas Initiative, which strengthens our economic, trade and cultural ties, was discussed. “A natural topic was also the issue of the Western Balkans and support for their efforts to join the European Union,” he added.
